Don’t allow your thoughts or previous ways to prevent you from trusting in the Lord.
Take the leap and trust Him to guide you safely in Him.
Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.—Proverbs 3:5-6
Search me, O God, and know my heart! Try me and know my thoughts! And see if there be any grievous way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting!—Psalm 139:23-24
Allow God to be your compass when life seems most turbulent or even peaceful and clear. He will direct you to Himself.
Don’t allow tempting thoughts, people, and situations to linger in your mind and presence. Be active. Say no. Speak God’s Word. Stand. Fight!
Be loving. Be funny. Be present. Be productive. Be holy.
Just as there are many colors in this heart, there are many ways you can show love to others.

Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. —John 14:1
God is still good…
When you’re in the middle, you’ve left where you were but you’re not yet where you need to be.
It can be frustrating because you look forward to reaching your destination but it seems so far away.
But let me encourage you not to give up. There is much more work to be done. You must be able to stay the course, do the work, and remain persistent.
There will be many quiet days, hard days, and wild ones as well. Enjoy the journey, for these days help you get to the other side.
Don’t give up. You’re almost there…
It’s hard seeing friends and family suffer. You wish you had a million dollars, a new car, an extra home, the perfect job, and a way for a fresh start. Sometimes you think what you have isn’t enough.
Give what you can…do what you can…even if it’s your time, a text, or a phone call. We all need people around us who empathize and genuinely care for us.
It takes a village to raise a person and not everyone will have money, jobs, and resources. Your presence is priceless. Your encouragement and support is welcomed. Your compassion is needed.
They will remember you were there for them in their darkest moments. Your investment, no matter what it might be, will be appreciated.
And remember: God has unlimited resources and we can all pray.
