One day, a man found a wasp stuck between his window and window screen. He watched the wasp crawl round and round the edge of the screen, looking for a way out. Not knowing how it got there, the man took a screwdriver to help the wasp. He thought he could simply pop the screen open from the outside.
After looking at the screen from the outside, he noticed the screen was not flush. It was probably how the wasp got in. Because removing the screen could only be opened from the inside, the man took the handle of the screwdriver and tapped the screen to move the wasp toward the small opening.
The wasp moved to the opening and was about to exit. It was halfway through. But then the wasp was so angry that the man tapped the screen with the handle that he returned to the screen to reach the eye level of the man, wanting to sting him. The man left the wasp in the screen because it no longer desired his help. And the wasp continued searching for the exit…round and round…round and round.
APPLICATION: There will be people who have a genuine desire to help you but may use unconventional means to do so. In stead of becoming mad at what methods they are using, focus on what they are trying to do, which is to help you.
Don’t remain stuck like the wasp. Accept the help God sends you.
