Ephesians 5:15-16 – See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
1. Make the most of every opportunity. There are 1,440 minutes in each day. Everyone receives the same amount. The difference is how each person uses those minutes.
Some opportunities come and never return. Don’t waste the moments you have, make every minute count.
2. Enjoy your family. Regardless of what you may go through, your family is with you. No matter how many friends you have on social media, your family is closer. They are the fabric that’s woven into our hearts and lives.
Regardless of your position in the family, someone will need your love, acceptance, and quality time. Just as you want to be loved and accepted, so does your family members. They want to spend time with you. Don’t only be in the house, be active in the lives of your family (corporately and individually).
The time you spend with your family is never a waste. What you give to your family today can last for generations.
3. Prepare for a successful future. There’s no greater success in life than hearing these words: His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord (Matthew 25:21, 23, 14-30).
The greatest future we can prepare for is one that will last forever. What you do in this life will determine how you will spend the rest of your life. Be a faithful servant of the Lord. Love God. Love others.
