To love God is to obey God.
This must become more than words on a page or a sermon you listen to. Obeying God must become the priority…not a suggestion or following certain scriptures you like when you like.
Many of us want the benefits from God but not willing to follow His word or will into the areas He is calling us to be…because it is not where we want to be.
If you love God, you will obey Him. Selah.
Take time to laugh and surround yourself with people and circumstances that bring you joy.
A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones. —Proverbs 17:22
Thank God for what you have. Trust God for what you need.
Rest in God today. Trust Him to fix it. Depend on His plan. Hold onto His word.
God works in the silent areas of our lives.
Don’t allow your thoughts or previous ways to prevent you from trusting in the Lord.
Take the leap and trust Him to guide you safely in Him.
Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.—Proverbs 3:5-6
Search me, O God, and know my heart! Try me and know my thoughts! And see if there be any grievous way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting!—Psalm 139:23-24
Allow God to be your compass when life seems most turbulent or even peaceful and clear. He will direct you to Himself.
Don’t allow tempting thoughts, people, and situations to linger in your mind and presence. Be active. Say no. Speak God’s Word. Stand. Fight!
Be loving. Be funny. Be present. Be productive. Be holy.
