What are you thankful for today?!
Secret sins will become public.
No matter how bad a person’s life becomes, they are STILL not outside the love and reach of God. Keep believing in what God can do, not what you see.
Sometimes we look for people to be there for us when we experience lack, sadness, anger, etc. without ever going to God. The throne of grace is open 24/7. And there, you can receive mercy and find grace when you need it—YOUR time of need. Go to the throne of grace today. You can go while driving, walking to work, during lunch, or right now. See Hebrews 4:14-16.
We often wear masks to hide our depression, sadness, anxiety, fear, and sin. The longer we hide them and not address them, the more ‘life’ we give them. We allow them access into our thoughts, decisions, and relationships. They steer us from the joy and freedom God desires us to have in order to withdraw and continue suffering within.
In His presence is the fullness of joy. Seek to be in His presence today and place all negativity before Him. He cares for you. He wants to give you His peace. Think on Him and not the hidden darkness so you can take off your mask and be truly free in Christ.
If we are truthful with ourselves, we sometimes get tired of waiting. Life seems to be passing us by while we’re stuck in a moment, a season, or a predicament.
“If only God would move faster or bring resolution quicker, I can be free, jump for joy, and give more to Him. But here I am…somewhere I don’t want to be.”
Though waiting can sometimes be tough, there are four things we can learn while waiting:
1—Waiting gives us perspective. Waiting gives us the opportunity to see our situation differently. Instead of simply seeing the micro-level, in time, we see the macro-level. We see and understand that God has a bigger plan in store for us beyond our current circumstances. He wants to do something in us and through us for His glory.
You don’t need to bigger faith. Faith the size of a mustard seed can move mountains. See Matthew 17:20.
God makes everything beautiful in its time, including you.
If you are seeking to renovate a room in your house, you do not renovate it according to the previous blueprint but something new. Likewise, you must renew your mind in the same fashion.
You cannot use the blueprint of the world or what you used before you believed in Jesus. It cannot help you renovate your life according to God’s standard and purpose. You must renovate your mind with a new blueprint so you will know how He wants you to build.
God makes everything beautiful in its time, including you. You are being made into a beautiful creation by His standards. Trust His ways. Trust His standard. Trust His blueprint.
In order to get to the ‘place’ God is calling us to be, we each must go ‘through.’ What each of us must go ‘through’ is different but the direction is the same…moving past distractions and things that keep us from the purpose of our creation—to glorify God.
I pray you will set your heart on the purpose God has given you. May your determination be set, your resolve strong, and your perseverance ready to go ‘through’ in order to reach the destination of your ‘well done, thy good and faithful servant...’
