Keep your eyes on the prize of eternal life.
Prepare yourself to win.
We are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not driven to despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed; always carrying in the body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be manifested in our bodies. —2 Corinthians 4:8-10
Not that I have already obtained this or am already perfect, but I press on to make it my own, because Christ Jesus has made me his own. Brothers, I do not consider that I have made it my own. But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.—Philippians 3:12-14
Many people want heaven but are not willing to follow Jesus to get there.
These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. —John 16:33
God will not place anything on you that you cannot bear. Overcome. Endure. Be victorious through Christ!

Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. —John 14:1
When you’re in the middle, you’ve left where you were but you’re not yet where you need to be.
It can be frustrating because you look forward to reaching your destination but it seems so far away.
But let me encourage you not to give up. There is much more work to be done. You must be able to stay the course, do the work, and remain persistent.
There will be many quiet days, hard days, and wild ones as well. Enjoy the journey, for these days help you get to the other side.
Don’t give up. You’re almost there…
In order to get to the ‘place’ God is calling us to be, we each must go ‘through.’ What each of us must go ‘through’ is different but the direction is the same…moving past distractions and things that keep us from the purpose of our creation—to glorify God.
I pray you will set your heart on the purpose God has given you. May your determination be set, your resolve strong, and your perseverance ready to go ‘through’ in order to reach the destination of your ‘well done, thy good and faithful servant...’
When life has you stressed, frustrated, and anxious, I want to encourage you to take your concerns and cares to God. Give them to Him, knowing He loves you and will answer you. Allow His peace to guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus. (Ref. Philippians 1:6, 4:6-7)
