1–It is an emotional ‘event.’ Think of your emotions as a gas tank. A person only has so much to give and loosing close relative drains most of it.
Each time a person comes to the house or calls, especially within the first 24 hours, the close relatives have to draw from that ‘tank’ to gain enough energy and emotional strength to have a conversation.
Our hearts often remain broken because we’re seeking healing from those who hurt us.
God heals the brokenhearted and bandages our wounds.
Whether the sun is shining or the clouds are hovering, God never leaves you.
No matter what you are experiencing in your life today, you are never too far from the loving care and embrace of a loving Father.
Reach out to Him today.
Call a friend who will pray with you.
Seek help from counselors.
Trials and tribulations will come, but there is refuge in the Lord. He will comfort you in the times of your greatest need. Trust Him to keep you. Trust Him to deliver you. Set your mind at rest, for you are not forsaken.
The LORD also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble. And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, LORD, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.—Psalm 9:9-10
In this life, we will experience seasons of sadness and tribulation. We will have our hearts broken, promises unfulfilled, and abounding disappointments. But our hope and trust in the Lord will keep us in peace no matter what might come our way. We hope in Him because Jesus overcame the world and there is an eternal rest and joy to look forward to. All is not lost for you today. There is hope. Hold unto to His promises, for they are faithful and true. The Lord will not leave you, forsake you, or lie to you. Allow Him to be your protector, deliverer, safety, and salvation.
This too shall pass…
