Hope for Today
Each day, trying times and circumstances knock on the doorstep of our hearts wanting to invite depression, frustration, anger, and hopelessness into our lives. As we fight to maintain peace within, there are many people in the book of Psalms who struggled with similar issues, and yet, found peace, joy, and comfort in the midst of theirs.
Join us as we cover one Psalm each week in an open and inviting forum to share ideas, ask questions, and learn more about those who trusted God in the midst of trying times.
Day/Time: Wednesdays, 1130 (starting 17 October)
Location: Faith Chapel (next to Maxwell Club)
Live in such a way that you die well.
Don’t slip back into old ways of sin. Remain holy unto God.
Find hope in God. Find rest in Jesus. Find peace in the Holy Spirit.
Keep choosing to love. Keep choosing to forgive. Keep choosing to be like Jesus.
God’s grace will sustain you where your strength cannot.
Keep your eyes on the prize of eternal life.
Prepare yourself to win.
God’s grace is amazing…deeper than the ocean, wider than any span, stronger than any force we know, but so gentle with us all.
God will lead you to righteousness, truth, and His perfect will.
Trust His plan…even if He doesn’t share every step.
Your destination will lead to Him.
Our hearts often remain broken because we’re seeking healing from those who hurt us.
God heals the brokenhearted and bandages our wounds.
