In each season of our lives there is something to learn, understand, give, and share.
Remain before the Father and keep your heart and mind sober.
Find safety in the name of the Lord.
Proverbs 18:10—The name of the LORD is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe.
Too often, we think about what someone has done to us rather than what Christ has done for us.
Thank God for what you have. Trust God for what you need.
Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.—John 14:1
There is freedom in God’s presence. Freedom in His Word. Freedom through His grace. Freedom through His mercy. May you experience His freedom today.
God has not forgotten you. He makes everything beautiful in its time.
There are many times in our lives when we don’t want to be godly. We want to hate, be angry, not forgive, and be outright ugly. We want revenge and show we’re not ‘the one’ to mess around with. We allow our anger to take over and take the lead in our lives, but in these moments, we must set our sights on another way.
Isaiah 25:1 – O Lord, thou art my God; I will exalt thee, I will praise thy name; for thou hast done wonderful things; thy counsels of old are faithfulness and truth.
Isaiah makes a personal reference to His God. What he shares is not hearsay or what he learned from another person. Similar to Isaiah, we too can reflect on the wonderful things God has done for you in the past:
#1: Make the two greatest commandments your life’s pursuit.
#2: Do not be ashamed to live as a child of God among the world.
#3: Find joy in obeying God’s Word by meditating on it day AND night.
#4: Represent God as His ambassador in all situations.
#5: Pray throughout the day.
